Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, a growth-oriented and innovative psychiatric practice located in Cooper City, Florida, is looking for a full-time Patient Care Receptionist to join our dynamic team. We offer a comprehensive mental health service, including therapy and group therapy, and we’re rapidly expanding.
As a Patient Care Receptionist, you will assist with front office duties in a busy practice. You’ll be working alongside a professionally diverse team dedicated to making real changes in people’s lives. Your responsibilities will include checking patients in or out, collecting patient responsibility, ensuring consents are on file, scheduling follow-ups, and making sure patients feel well taken care of. Additionally, you will handle phone calls, communicate with providers and teammates, and manage all EHR and paperless medical records systems. You’ll also assist with invoicing and other administrative tasks related to patient care.

Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM
We’re looking for applicants who are highly organized and have strong emotional intelligence. You will be interacting with individuals dealing with mental and emotional challenges, so a compassionate and professional demeanor is essential. Experience in healthcare and working with insurance companies is a plus, but not required.
