What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Society Inc.?
This particular position is available immediately as a maintenance assistant at Blue Valley Lutheran Homes. Must be 21 years old or older to run heavy equipment such as mowers and tractors.
The primary purpose of this position is to assure that the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, workable, and aesthetic manner. This is done in accordance with our policies, procedures, and the state and federal government guidelines which govern our business.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the workday using proper body mechanics.
- Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend consistently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to tolerate being active and on your feet for up to four (4) hours at a time.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
