Blue Water Behavioral Consulting, LLC is looking for a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with a small caseload of young children (two preschoolers and one first grader). Most sessions will take place at our learning center in Burlington, WA. Tentative work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:45-3:45.

Minimum Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma
- Passion for working with children
- Passion for helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Driver's License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
- Absence of any criminal history (per a 10-year federal, state, and county background check)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field. Applicants currently enrolled in an accredited college/university who are actively pursuing a degree in one of the aforementioned areas will also be strongly considered.
- 1 year experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- 1 year experience working with typically developing children
- Completion of college coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- 1 year experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license through WA Dept of Health
- CPR Certification

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement client programs under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Provide high quality one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, with an emphasis on helping the client learn through play-based instruction and natural environment teaching, and fostering critical communication skills.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using specified methods. Complete all end of session documentation for patient's file in a thorough and timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
