SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Under the general guidance of the General Manager, accountable for maximizing the revenues of the hotel’s rooms. The primary role of the position is to ensure that the Hotel RevPAR indexes are enhanced. The position is integral to the success of each hotel's revenue management system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Leading the weekly revenue strategy meeting.
· Providing analysis of demand factors, competitive positioning.
· Preparing Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports
· Actively managing Revenue Management System
· Monitoring transient and group production to ensure that an optimal mix is maintained;
· Evaluating group booking requests to ensure that the Hotel is not displacing higher yielding revenue
· Analyzing the impact of the revenue management strategies implemented by the Hotels;
· Ensuring that the Hotels' position in the GDS and other distribution channels is consistent with the Hotels' Selling Strategies, includes conducting rate and availability audits;
· Forecasting accurately short term (weekly) and long term (30, 60 and 90 days)
· Assisting in the development of the Hotels' budgets.
· Participating in Revenue conference calls.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
· Ensuring that the Hotels' revenue management practices are being used and being consistent with hotel policies and procedures.
· Implementing all changes/recommendations with assistance from the Regional Revenue Team;
· Ensuring that all rate plans are built in accordance with established guidelines;
· Assisting in managing the relationship with third party online intermediaries.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
· Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
· Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
· Ability to maintain client relationships with third party websites OTAs and ownership groups.
Education: At least five years of progressive Revenue experience in a NY hotel and a 4-year college degree - Master degree preferred but not required
Minimum two years’ experience as a Director of Revenue Management or equivalent
Knowledge:
Fluency in English – both written and spoken
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in revenue management and budgeting processes is highly desirable.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
