Blue Water Catering is a rapidly growing full service caterer and we just added a Food Truck to our operations and we are now looking to expand our team!
Food Truck Staff (1099 Position)
Our Food Truck Staff would be responsible for all aspects of operating a food truck, including preparing food and maintaining cleanliness, they must prioritize excellent customer service and food quality while adhering to food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet Brewery Servers at the service window, explain menu items, and answer questions.
- Serve food promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Food Preparation:
- Assist in food preparation tasks like grilling, frying, assembling dishes, and portioning ingredients.
- Follow recipes and ensure food quality standards are met.
- Stock the service window with condiments, utensils, and packaging.
- Operations and Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including kitchen area, service window, and exterior.
- Properly handle and store food items to ensure food safety.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic food handling and safety knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic cooking skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
