Pay Range: $18.60 – $26.90 per hour (based on experience)

We are now seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance Division.
Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Clerk prepares, posts, verifies, and records transactions related to accounts receivable. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations for the agency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
3 to 5 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
Acceptable criminal background check
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate computers, 10-key calculators, copiers, and related office equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must meet additional qualifications as required by DHHS or other regulatory bodies
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Functions
Post revenue and payments to appropriate accounts
Maintain and reconcile revenue and deposit records
Process approved credit memos and prepare invoices
Submit monthly receivable and activity reports to appropriate supervisors
Maintain accurate customer and resident account records
Process annual payee reports and MDHHS verification letters
Review resident fund logs and communicate needed corrections
Administrative Support
Perform general filing and information distribution
Attend department and policy meetings
Deliver excellent customer service internally and externally
Notify Finance Director of unresolved or escalating issues
Agency Duties
Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Blue Water Developmental Housing, Inc.
Act as a professional and cooperative team member
Build positive relationships with coworkers, external agencies, and the community
Perform other duties as assigned
