About the Role :
The Bait and Tackle Supervisor at Sun Outdoors Cape Charles is crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience by ensuring that all fishing and recreational supplies are well-stocked, organized, and readily available. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the bait and tackle shop, including inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service excellence. The supervisor will train and mentor team members to provide knowledgeable assistance to guests, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and information for a successful outing. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a clean and inviting environment that reflects the high standards of Sun Outdoors. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Looking for a motivated team member with the opportunity to advance to a manager position who loves fishing and is not afraid to touch live and dead bait. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work weekends. We are looking for someone who is great with customers, has good time management, and takes the initiative.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times you may be required to cover or assist with tasks / job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We need each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as expected with your normal job duties.
