INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Chief Engineer for our properties manages all hotel asset preventive maintenance. Manages maintenance team and organizes efforts to provide a premier facility to support a positive guest experience. A mechanical self-starter who ensures property operations run smoothly and safely

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to solve problems.
- Converts problems into actionable solutions and provides work instructions to the team.
- Ability to read and translate blueprints into job specifications and work orders.
- Ability to interpret instructions (written and oral) into actions.
- Effectively communicates to a variety of audiences.
- High regard for safety and regularly provides risk analysis of operations.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the d ability to adjust focus.
