What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Cart Attendant position at Blue Water Hospitality Group, LLC?
INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Golf Cart Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide exceptional service.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As the Golf Attendant, you are safety-minded and focused, with strong attention to detail. Work well under pressure and in high-stress situations. You will need to be alert and focused on tasks for prolonged periods. You possess excellent communication skills.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Must maintain and service the carts before and in between guest uses
- Instruct guests on how to properly operate the golf carts
- Assign golf carts to guests
- Inspect golf carts upon guest returns
- Clean and sanitize carts
- Report damages to office staff
YOU BRING
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 100% attendance
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate with staff and guests clearly
- Comfortable being near people of all ages and genders
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee must frequently lift or move items over fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and you may sometimes be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We need each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same enthusiasm and dedication as you would with your usual job duties.
