INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms and suites at resorts. The supervisor may assign duties, inspect work, investigate housekeeping service and equipment complaints, and take corrective action. The supervisor may also purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.

The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the General Manager. Oversees the day-to-day responsibilities of the housekeeping staff.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks / job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as you would with your normal job duties.
