Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Duluth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and estimating, with expertise in commercial and hospitality projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design to project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and budget tracking.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects.
- Proven experience in project estimating and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- PMP certification is a plus.
