Application Penetration Testing Intern

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00 (Undergraduate Student) $26.50 (Graduate Student)

Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our team in the identification and assessment of security vulnerabilities in Blue Yonder Products. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of information security and to work with experienced professionals. Your skills and passion can make a significant impact!

What you will do:

• Assist with Penetration Testing: Participate in penetration testing activities for web applications, APIs, mobile applications, and source code reviews.
• Identify Security Vulnerabilities: Help identify security vulnerabilities within applications, understand the scope of potential impacts, and determine instances of known issues with guidance from team members.
• Collaborate on Documentation: Work with team members to document testing results, provide recommendations for remediation, and validate identified vulnerabilities.
• Leverage Information Channels: Utilize known information channels to gain context and enhance testing effectiveness.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends and techniques in penetration testing and security assessments.

What we are looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge in computer networks, operating systems, web application and mobile application.
• Familiarity with penetration testing tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interest in the field of information security and a desire to learn and grow as a professional
