Senior Test Engineer
The position is for a Senior Test Engineer to work with our client onsite in Richardson, Texas to certify their new virtual C20 / G9 platform.
You must be able to work onsite in Richardson, TX a minimum of 3-4 days per week.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
- Must have experience with one of the following telecom applications : CS2K, C20 or related platforms
- Understanding of signaling platforms, session boarder controllers and media gateways
- Strong understanding of network protocols and network performance testing
- Strong understanding of call processing and call signaling messages
- Experience with call testing and feature testing
- Experience with test tools such as the IXIA Load Voice or Interactive Test Platform (ITP)
- Experience working in the Verizon Maintenance Engineering (ME) Test environment
- Experience working with vendors and manufactures to install, troubleshoot and test products
- Experience tracking bugs and issue resolution
- Strong understanding of application and network Low Level Design (LLD) documentation and Test Requirements
- Experience writing and executing test cases based on LLDs and Test Requirements
- Experience documenting test case results in the format of a Test Exit Report (TER)
- Experience writing Method of Procedures (MOPs) for deploying changes in a production network
- Experience working with Operations to roll out new releases and perform updates in a production network
