PRN Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Med Tech/Caregiver to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. This role requires a solid understanding of direct care for the elderly. The Med Tech/Caregiver will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while delivering exceptional service in the assisted living environment.

Duties

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient information and track care plans.
• Collaborate with teammates to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the community and resident spaces.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees in a medical field preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and experience in an assisted living setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in home community care or direct patient care is a plus.
