Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of seating in the restaurant. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and with a warm smile as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage the seating chart and coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating of guests.
• Handle reservations and walk-in guests efficiently while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure exceptional guest service throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality are essential for this role.
