What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Management Specialist position at BLUEBERRY STAFFING LLC?
Client is looking for contract management PM experience to track multiple contracts and the different phases and time management with the contract phases to move along.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to client inquiries regarding contract specifics; and producing or updating software tools, which deal with contract information.
- Conduct thorough independent review of power contracts and related documents, identifying critical information or patterns.
- Producing detailed Contract Summaries and Scheduling/Dispatch protocols; identifying potential contractual issues and solutions; investigating contract questions/issues raised by clients; or performing complex numerical analyses relative to power contracts' capacity and energy costs.
- Monitor contracts' compliance with contract and other applicable regulatory and legal requirements, and report on performance to internal parties, and regulatory agencies such as the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and California Energy Commission, as required.
- Work with counterparties as their existing contracts are modified, extended or transitioned to new contracts by negotiators.
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience working with contracts; preferably power contracts Energy industry knowledge
- Understanding of energy & utility terms
- Knowledge of California energy market
- Understanding of CPUC and FERC regulatory framework
- Familiarity with Enviance milestone tracking system
- Familiarity with FileNet electronic document storage system
- SAP, Aribia, PowerBI
