Reporting into the CFO, as the Senior Director, FP&A you will lead all aspects of finance business partnering, providing critical finance input into strategic and operational business decisions and processes. HOW YOU’LL FLY
You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:
- Supporting the business as a critical finance business partner and provide financial planning and performance analysis including budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and financial/business analysis
- Developing a strong understanding of our business and end user budgeting and reporting requirements to implement effective system solutions and supporting processes, driving process transformation through thought leadership
- Optimizing financial systems/technology to increase automation in forecasting, budgeting and reporting, implementing and integrating new systems as needed.
- Ensuring a high degree of financial budget ownership across the team, providing oversight and training on financial processes
- Maintaining financial tracking and reporting and creating other tools, processes, reports and metrics to accurately forecast and report business results
- Providing strategic support and insights while being accountable for and driving the delivery of a well-defined, consistent and cohesive planning and model assumptions
- Leading modeling and planning activities to complete the annual business planning cycles and to develop and implement strategic plans
- Providing analysis, presentations and recommendations to the executive team
- Leading and mentoring a team of highly skilled FP&A professionals
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You’re the bird we’re looking for if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred
- 14 years related work experience in accounting, finance, and/or consulting, some of which is in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Previous experience building, leading and developing high performing teams
- Demonstrated success in Finance Business Partnering, able to engage with non-finance professionals and distil complex financial viewpoints to promote understanding
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management and financial modeling abilities with in depth knowledge of MS Office applications and experience in cloud-based planning systems (e.g. Oracle PBCS) and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Hyperion)
- Strong analytical thinking skills with ability to collate and analyze data, identifying key drivers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication ability with skills in translating ideas into clear, high impact communications at all levels of the organization.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a total compensation and rewards package that ranks among the best in our industry. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $225,801 - $294,486. Your base pay will be determined based on several factors including market data, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and travel requirements. Our overall package also includes eligibility for stock, incentive bonuses, and benefit programs, a flexible time off program, as well as 28 paid holidays, including 2 company shutdowns.
