Project Manager
Our growing company is searching for a project manager who will take ownership of projects from start to finish and understands that they are responsible for achieving the desired outcome. We are looking for a person with a high level of commitment, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn and grow. Objectives
Meet or exceed customer expectations.
Establish project plans and manage expectations among key players as conditions and schedules change.
Coordinate project activities across departments and with vendors to manage timelines, identify and solve problems, and deliver results.
Communicate and collaborate to build partnerships with clients, sales, design, production, accounting, and the vendor community.
Maximize project profitability.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding that every customer has unique requirements and that every project will present growth opportunities.
Communicate effectively at all times - with both internal and external clients and partners.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will:
Have the opportunity to oversee multiple projects of varying sizes.
Be given the autonomy required to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Engage with many talented people in the architectural signage community, including clients, vendors, and design professionals to help realize a project's full potential.
Collaborate with our design, production, and installation teams to ensure projects begin and end profitability.
Become fluent in reading and analyzing architectural drawings, shop drawings, and contract documents.
Occasionally travel to visit clients and participate in Aeld meetings, and site inspections as well as oversee installations.
Support the collections process as needed with your clients to help keep the company financially sound.
Grow to meet agreed-upon performance goals by assuming new projects when available.
Develop and maintain relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, and the design community to deliver on our commitment to world-class customers.
Receive and respond to constructive feedback to foster your career growth and improve your capabilities and deliverables.
Take on appropriate production tasks on the shop floor to help complete your projects when needed.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a person with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Architecture, or Construction Management, or equivalent technical experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a passionate maker, eager to learn and grow, has a high level of commitment and self-motivation, an inquisitive mind, high attention to detail, time management skills, and a strong ability to organize and prioritize. Experience with signage, exhibits, or related industries, managing large-scale projects for corporate offices, hospitals, and educational facilities is a plus. Experience reading floor plans and shop drawings, and a track record managing others are valued. A clean driver's license and flexibility to travel is required.
