Bluebird Staffing is seeking a General Manager in the non-asset based logistics idustry. International Freight Forwarding experience is a must have (domestic logistics will not translate to this position)
Looking for a strong sales background with management experience (ideally). Need someone who knows the Atlanta market very well and is looking to settle into this branch for the long term.
Position Details:
- Title: General Manager
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Length: Perm/Direct
- Compensation: $110,000 to $125,000 plus bonus
- Hybrid/Remote/On-site: 3 days a week onsite, 2 remote
Experience Required:
- Must come from a non-asset based company with international freight forwarding, imports experience
- Sales experience is a must as they you will oversee 2 sales reps and be willing to attend important sales calls periodically
- P&L (profit and loss) experience required
- Overssing/Managing employees a must
Job Description:
- Looking for someone who knows the Atlanta market very well and can be the face of this branch in that area. Looking for someone who knows what potential clients are in the area
- Will oversee a team of 6 people
