Key Responsibilities
- Measurement and Assessment
- Accurately measure windows, doors, and openings to ensure precise fit and alignment.
- Inspect existing installations and assess needs for repairs or replacements.
- Customer Interaction
- Communicate professionally with clients to prepare them for installation and address any questions or concerns.
- Ensure customers feel confident and comfortable with their upcoming installations.
- Installation Support and Repairs
- Replace sashes, window parts, and perform caulking to resolve minor installation issues.
- Collaborate with installation teams to confirm proper sizing, materials, and specifications.
- Operate a brake for bending coil as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Use the Acculynx CRM to document measurements, take project photos, and manage service requests.
- Submit orders to the production assistant, confirming details like colors, grids, labor, and materials.
- Daily Routine
- Start the day by picking up a company truck at the shop and preparing your route.
- Visit 8-10 homes daily, completing measurements, repairs, and customer follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Preferred Experience: 5 years in window and door measurement, installation, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of windows, doors, flashing, siding (roofing experience is a plus).
- Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and operate tools safely.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
