Low Voltage Installation Technician
Pay Scale Structure :
Level 1 Technician - minimum experience - Basic cable running ($25-$28 per hour)
Level 2 Technician - 1-2 years of cabling and access control / network camera experience ($28-$30 per hour)
Level 3 Technician - 2 years experience in the above areas and certifications in CISSP, CCNA Security or similar ($31-$34 / hour)
Location : Dallas Based - 50% travel required including statewide and nationwide project coverage
Job Overview
We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician to assist with physical security system installations for our commercial clients. This role requires access control expertise and the ability to execute complex security projects from initial setup through final implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure access control systems according to project specifications and client requirements
- Execute system deployments, including implementation and integration with existing infrastructure
- Work on multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Perform technical assessments of security system installations
- Follow standard operating procedures for installations and maintenance
- Apply best practices and troubleshooting methodologies
- Assist with challenging installations and system integrations
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and complete required documentation for all projects
