What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Installation Lead position at Bluebird?
Physical Security Tech Lead Needed
Lead Installation Teams & Put Your Experience to Work
Looking for experienced techs ready to step up and lead teams on major security system deployments. If you've got real field experience with access control, cameras, and network installations, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Actually Do
As team lead, you'll be running a crew of 4-6 techs on large commercial security jobs. Your team will handle everything from access control and IP cameras to network infrastructure and low voltage systems, including fire and life safety installations. You'll be the one training and mentoring your team while coordinating directly with clients and project managers to keep installations and maintenance running smooth.
What You Need
We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of leadership experience in the security/low voltage field. You should have solid hands-on experience with security systems, access control, and networking. You'll need at least one industry certification - whether that's CCSP, CompTIA Security , a Fire Alarm License, or similar industry certs that show your industry knowledge.
What's In It For You
We offer solid pay backed by a full benefits package and PTO, continued education reimbursement to keep your skills sharp, a clear path for advancement, and a culture that encourages thinking outside of the box. We're building something special, and we need people who can grow with us.
Travel
The first year will involve roughly 50% travel for major installations. Here's why: we're actively building regional hubs across the country. As we establish these hubs and build out local teams, travel will become more localized. You'll have the opportunity to help build and train teams in your area, setting up a long-term operation that works for everyone. (Please note all installation travel expenses will be reimbursed)
Why This Matters
You'll be at the forefront of setting up enterprise-level security systems and building solid teams of techs. Getting in early means you'll have a real say in how we grow and what technical standards we set. We're expanding nationwide, and we need people who can make the right calls on complex projects.
