In this role, you will:
- Ensure Accounts Payable invoices are entered timely and accurately
- Track receipts and supporting documentation for bank and credit card charges
- Capture and enter daily accounting data into various systems
- Help maintain financial records
- Work with the Senior Accountant in the monthly close process
- Assist the Senior Accountant and VP of Finance with other tasks as assigned
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least three years of experience, or
- Associate's degree in Accounting with at least five years of experience
- Experience at a for-profit entity with an annual audit under GAAP
- Experience with Accounts Payable
- Math and analytical skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Proficient and comfortable in a purely digital environment
- Broad experience in accounting (G/L, payroll, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, etc.)
- Prior experience at a lending institution
- Familiarity with governmental GAAP
