Join the Internal Audit team at BCBST as an Internal Auditor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and experience to identify ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes through completion of audit test work.
If you are detail oriented and a critical thinker with analytical skills and a desire to innovate, we want to hear from you. Having the CIA or CPA designation is a plus. Although we are based in Chattanooga, TN, this is a fully remote position.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing audit reports to communicate audit results.
- Preparing work papers to support work performed, findings, and conclusions reached.
- Working with management and staff to identify internal control issues and to develop recommendations to address the issues.
- Following up on agreed actions resulting from audit issues to ensure timely and effective implementation.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
- 2 years - Auditing or other relevant experience required
Skills\Certifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with senior leadership teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
