What are the responsibilities and job description for the J1/P1 Water Treatment Installer/Plumber position at Bluedrop Water?
Bluedrop solves water quality issues for Residential and Commercial clients with the design and installation of water purification equipment. We are seeking a Plumber to join our growing installation team!

Candidates must hold an active Connecticut J1 or P1 license and be interested in an exciting new challenge. Water filtration experience is a bonus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys and installation planning
- Install Bluedrop equipment including water filtration systems, water softeners and reverse osmosis systems
- Collaborate with Bluedrop operations, service, and sales teams
- Maintain company vehicle according to policy and procedures
- Following through on our customer commitments
- Ensure the management, maintenance, and security of company assets including inventory, equipment, vehicles, and machinery
- Assist with training other members of the team
- Safety must be a #1 priority to keep injury free and compliant with regulations and company safety policies
- Support growth and development within your division through mentorship, training, and exposure to other services and business functions
Qualifications & Skills:
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to read and follow plumbing and electrical schematics
- Ability to lift up to (60) lbs.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Must hold a current and active J1 or P1 license issued by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection
- Valid Driver’s License and be insurable
- A HS Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of plumbing experience
Salary : $35 - $45
