Qualifications:
- B.S. and/or M.S. in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
- PE/SE license in CO or ability to obtain via reciprocity
- 14 years of experience as a Structural Engineer designing wood, steel, concrete, masonry & other materials
- 8 years of experience as a Structural Project Manager on high-end residential and other building projects: Successful management of project design/coordination, internal project teams, clients & project financials, confidence in ability to fulfill all aspects of a project.
- Proficiency with structural engineering principles & current building/design codes
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA, Dlubal, Enercalc, etc.
- Experience w/ Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit &/or Archicad, or desire to learn & utilize the basics to optimize production
- Lead/manage/mentor/schedule team of engineers and drafter/modelers
- Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, other project team members
- Engineer and oversee the structural design of wood, steel, concrete, masonry structures, including unique building materials and assemblies
- Use and oversee the usage of software, technologies, building/design codes to provide efficient, clear documentation of designs & calculations
- Provide and oversee excellent construction administration, including field observations & formal reports
- Foster strong relationships with our community, clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, engineers & building departments
