Description
BlueForce, Inc. is seeking for Administrative Assistant to support the US Department of State (DoS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Program in the advancement of professionalization of the Haitian National Police (HNP) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
***Position is Subject to Contract Award***
General Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate and support personnel, management, and clients on a regular basis
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, collate and distribute mail
- Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
- Write and edit communications, from letters to reports and instructional documents
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
- Book travel arrangements
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
Qualifications
Position Minimum qualifications:
- Local National
- Associate degree from an accredited institution.
- FSI level 3/3 (professional working proficiency) in English.
- At least two (2) years’ experience in an administrative position with progressively responsible duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to deal effectively with senior U.S. and government officials.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
General Qualifications
- Able to pass an RSO vetting carried out by the U.S. Embassy.
- Must pass a physical, medical, and psychological tests; nine-panel drug test and a background check.
- Valid passport and driver’s license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- FSI Level 3/3 (professional working proficiency) in French and/or Haitian Creole is preferred.
