Position Summary:
The Data Specialist will collect, analyze, and interpret data related to government contracts, providing insights to support decision-making processes and optimize contract performance. This role requires proficiency in data analysis techniques, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of government contracting processes and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data with the enterprise ERP to support government contracts, financial data, procurement data, and performance metrics. Ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions.
- Develop data dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Design scripts, tools and APIs to support data interfaces between applications.
- Perform system administration tasks to manage and upkeep databases and systems to ensure they are secure, accessible, and functioning properly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
