Packaging & Crating Technician
Pay range: $20.50-27.50/hr DOE

Position Summary
Listed work hours: 7:00 A.M to 3:30 P.M
This position is responsible for a variety of duties related to shipping and inventory management of all parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Packages Cryomech products and spare parts for shipping to its customers in accordance with appropriate work instruction procedures
- Boxes products according to Bluefors standards
- Assembles wooden crates using drills, hammers, strapping tools and other small hand tools.

- Handle loading, interface with common carriers ensuring that our product is safely loaded.
- Assists other shippers in necessary tasks in order to meet shipping requirements as directed
- Communicates interdepartmentally to ensure specific order requirements
- Completes and delivers all documentation to the Shipping Supervisor
- Keeps track of all shipping related supplies and orders and stores supplies to maintain inventory
- Interface with test room
- Other duties as assigned
- Packages Cryomech products and spare parts for shipping to its customers in accordance with appropriate work instruction procedures
Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
