We Offer
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Controller and Senior Accountant with basic transaction accounting and asset accounting functions for Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN), Bluegrass Care Navigators’ Foundation, and Palliative Care Center of the Bluegrass. The Staff Account will also be responsible for general ledger management, accounts payable management, and financial reporting on a limited basis.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Controller and Senior Accountant with basic transaction accounting and asset accounting functions for Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN), Bluegrass Care Navigators’ Foundation, and Palliative Care Center of the Bluegrass. The Staff Account will also be responsible for general ledger management, accounts payable management, and financial reporting on a limited basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or associate’s degree with minimum of two years’ related experience.
- Information systems knowledge required.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work Microsoft Office software.
- Demonstrates good communications and public relations skills.
- This position does not require the team member to maintain a valid driver’s license or to drive a motor vehicle as a part of their regular assigned duties. However, if the team member does elect to drive a motor vehicle while in the performance of their job duties, they must maintain a valid driver’s license in the state in which they reside, and they must comply with state insurance laws governing liability, property damage, and bodily injury.
- Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
