Our dealership's exciting, fun, and dynamic culture embraces a lifestyle of freedom, good times, and great rides We appreciate our employees and invest in their success Apply now and drive your career forward with this great opportunity Responsibilities - Service Writer / Parts and Labor Specialist (PALS) : Help retail customers purchase motorcycle parts and accessories, receive parts and stock into inventory, guide customers through the motorcycle maintenance and repair process, provide service options and costs, and much more. Keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly, keep parts / accessory showroom clean Provide excellent customer service Answer questions about parts and accessory merchandise and motorcycle service maintenance and repair options and costs Handle telephone and internet interactions quickly and courteously. Offer 'specials' and additional products Diagnose motorcycle problems and estimate maintenance / repair costs Assign jobs to technicians based on skill level Occasionally assist technicians with service work. Perform cashier tasks as needed Become efficient with the computer system for service and parts management Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service. Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity. Be honest and fair in all business dealings. Qualifications - Service Writer / Parts and Labor Specialist (PALS) : Harley-Davidson motorcycle service and parts knowledge and experience is preferred Knowledge of motorcycle front end, suspension, and engine components Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to look up / find parts and quote prices using catalogue / internet for corresponding motorcycle. Experience with point-of-sale and computerized inventory systems or able to quickly learn Occasionally requires the ability to balance and push a 600 - 900 lb. motorcycle.
