Accountabilities
- · Providing on-the-job technical support for technicians as required and assisting in the development of their technical skills and abilities.
- · Conducting the flow of RV related service work, technician accountability, vehicle repair completion, documentation and continuous communication with the Service Advisors and Service Manager.
- · Understanding and ensuring compliance with all vendor policies and warranty procedures.
- · Maintaining high quality service repairs to minimize comebacks.
- · Works with the parts department to ensure correct parts and quantities are ordered
- · Keeping abreast of all warranty policies and product changes to maintain effectiveness in this role.
- · Ensuring that all repairs are documented, comments are descriptive and precise.
- · Ensuring that all vehicles are sent to QC when required and that the repairs are completed correctly.
- · Reviewing Upsell possibilities.
- · Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- · Ensuring the proper use, care, and storage of all tools.
- · Understanding and keeping abreast of all federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, EPA, etc.
- · Attending all Service Department staff meetings as required.
- · Explaining completed work and charges to the customer if required.
- · Communicating with RV customers through the Kenect app.
