What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Counselor (Weekends) position at Bluegrass Recovery Center?
Shifts Available:
Saturday 8am-4pm
Sunday 8am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to individuals with substance abuse disorders
-Provide Individual and group therapy services for clients in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Setting
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions
- Prepare and Implement treatment plans for patients and Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
-Complete Biopsychosocial evaluations
-Participate in regular Treatment Team Meetings
-Ensure the company adheres to state and federal licensure and regulations
-Maintain client records
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
- State licensure or certification as a clinician (e.g.,LPCC, LCSW, LCADC, CSW, LPCA )
- Experience working with individuals with Substance Abuse Disorder
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
