Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Secure New Business: Engage potential clients to uncover large FTL, warehousing, and fulfillment opportunities.
- Manage Sales Pipeline: Aggressively work potential accounts through the sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing and onboarding.
- Develop Customized Proposals: Collaborate with the FTL Pricing Team to craft competitive, tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Present to Prospective Clients: Create and deliver compelling presentations that showcase the value of Bluegrass Dedicated’s FTL services.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and continued growth.
- Account Performance & Growth: Lead or support account reviews to discuss performance, forecasts, and future opportunities for expansion.
- Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and drive new business.
- Communicate Market Trends: Share customer insights and market trends with senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Proven Sales Success: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-performance outside sales role, ideally within logistics or FTL sales.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong phone, in-person, and presentation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues while driving results.
- High Energy & Self-Driven: A motivated, self-starter with an outstanding work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with shifting priorities.
- Willingness to Travel: Up to 30% travel required for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.
