Purpose
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse staff and ensuring efficient and organized daily operations within the warehouse. This includes overseeing receiving, storing, and dispatching processes, as well as ensuring all procedures are followed to maintain a safe, clean, and productive environment. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and supports the Director of Operations in implementing operational improvements.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow of warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and tracking of products within the warehouse.
- Supervise the organization and layout of the warehouse for maximum efficiency.
- Assign daily tasks and set clear performance expectations for warehouse staff.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Monitor employee productivity, provide feedback, and support individual development.
- Promote and enforce safe working practices and adherence to safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards
- Ensure that staff is properly trained on the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensure that products are handled, stored, and shipped according to company standards.
- Perform quality checks and implement improvements to minimize errors in order processing.
- Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements and suggest process changes.
- Work with the DOO to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or related field
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping/receiving processes.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
· Certifications: Forklift certification or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
