Project Manager - Sales Model Operations (Advertising)
Bellevue, WA / RemoteBluehawk Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and effective Project Manager to work with a sales operations team in the advertising space at one of the world's largest software development companies. The role will be responsible for critical work to enable the sales team to more efficiently sell display and video advertising to drive increased revenue.
Project Overview
The Project Manager will provide services to an advertising organization and will be supporting the roll-out of critical initiatives for display and video (D&V) advertising. This work is a top priority of the SLT and needs to land quickly to support the teams' revenues goals.The role will be responsible for managing multiple initiatives, including:
- Quickly creating a critical playbook that provides a sales friendly view for selling display and video (D&V) advertising. The playbook will document the business flow so the sales team can optimize their execution.
- Tools focus, implementing a pipeline management process (i.e., ADO) for the intake and management of D&V work items. The PM will also be responsible for running a prioritization meeting, working with stakeholders to refine their requests and manage the ADO items for updates and tracking.
This role will work with sales and engineering stakeholder organizations to facilitate the implementation of the initiatives and programs.
Responsibilities
- Quickly (2 months) create a meaningful playbook for the sales team from existing documentation, that provides a sale friendly view of the process to effectively sell display and video advertising.
- With a tool focus, implement a pipeline management process (i.e., ADO) for sake of collecting/managing the work items that support improving the sales of display and video advertising. Work items will be for the sake of changes to systems, process, people or other.
- Manage project plans for business and technical dependencies and needs.
- Identify interdependencies and work with program leads to ensure mitigation of risks/issues.
- Draft and contribute to communication plans and content that go to stakeholders.
- Facilitate change management with stakeholders across the organization for work items as well as program changes.
- Document dependencies and risks for playbook and work intake process.
- Create and maintain highly organized project resources including OneNote and Teams, etc.
- Maintain project plan & keep related documents up to date (Project plan files, Excel trackers, PPT Slides, etc.).
- Facilitate v-team meetings, project standups and partner with program leads to create agendas & meeting notes.
- Track action items and maintain risk/question logs.
- Draft communication and status update for program lead status updates.
- Help support & facilitate ad hoc documentation / meetings as required (focus groups, breakout sessions, etc.).
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years project or program management experience.
- Experience in the Digital Advertising and Marketing space, especially with display and video advertising.
- Exceptional project management skills; ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives, providing rigor while helping the team move quickly.
- Proven ability to take disparate and extensive documentation and coalesce it into an impactful process playbook for a sales team.
- Effective and efficient at documenting project information, for sake of communicating and garnering stakeholder support.
- Strong organizational, people and communications skills to structure, write key emails & collateral, facilitate project meetings and working sessions.
- Accountability is key! Do what you say you are going to do. As well as holding the v-team accountable for staying on track to solve the immediate objectives.
- Assertive but diplomatic in execution. Pro-actively drive to figure things out, resolve roadblocks for the team and program.
- Extremely effective written and verbal communicator.
- High level of competency with OneNote, Teams, as well as strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently with little direction, pro-active in anticipating and taking care of what's needed next, resourceful, and self-sufficient.
- Extremely detail-oriented & thorough, with ability to understand the "big picture" and business strategy, while driving the tactical and operational execution.
- Ability to make independent decisions and to juggle multiple projects/deadlines at once.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and challenging situations/stakeholders.

Required Education
- BA or BS degree.

Salary Range for this position: $117,000 - $135,000
