We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Analyst (Mid-Level) to conduct all-source intelligence analysis on emerging and advanced technologies and their military applications worldwide. This role involves assessing the discovery, development, and deployment of cutting-edge technologies and their impact on U.S. forces and national security. The analyst will provide risk assessments on the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use technologies, evaluating foreign involvement in critical U.S. defense sectors and supply chains.
The ideal candidate will deliver actionable intelligence to support the U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition Communities, working collaboratively across the Intelligence Community (IC) to drive collection and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all-source intelligence analysis on future and current advanced technologies and their military applications.
- Assess the risks associated with foreign involvement in U.S. defense technologies and critical sectors.
- Evaluate and track the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies.
- Develop and produce intelligence reports for U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition Communities.
- Identify and assess potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the defense supply chain.
- Collaborate with IC partners to share intelligence, drive collection efforts, and resolve analytic disputes.
- Lead teams in researching complex intelligence issues, applying advanced analytical methodologies.
- Structure analysis based on trends in reporting and insights from multiple intelligence disciplines.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders based on comprehensive technology risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting relevant intelligence analysis, with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- Holds an active TS/SCI with CI Poly
- Strong understanding of advanced technologies, military applications, and defense supply chain risks.
- Ability to synthesize incomplete or complex data into actionable intelligence products.
- Demonstrated experience working independently with minimal oversight.
- Proven ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive intelligence reports.
- Experience collaborating with IC partners to drive intelligence collection and analysis.
- Expertise in argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence, Engineering, Cybersecurity, International Affairs) from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience leading intelligence teams and mentoring junior analysts.
- Familiarity with intelligence tools, methodologies, and databases used for technology and defense analysis.
