SUMMARY:
Employees of Bluejack Builders ensure that the highest level of service is offered to the customers of Bluejack National by providing them with personal, gracious, and professional service. Under general direction from the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance around the property such as fixing structural damage repairs, troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, and preventative maintenance service on equipment/facilities. The Technician properly communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repairs to the Maintenance Coordinator. Technicians will place safety as a top priority and are responsible for maintaining a clean service area and facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
· Perform preventative maintenance to equipment and facilities, to make sure they are safe and mechanically sound.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all residents.
• Communicate and effectively work together with your fellow team members.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
• Attend all relevant operational meetings.
• Support the Development / Club Customs, Culture and Rules.
• Perform duties with due regard for safety of self and fellow employees while exercising proper care and protection of company property.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years related building maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge in the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Must be able to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and a computerized maintenance management system involving preventative maintenance,
• Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships and communications with members, management, staff, ownership, prospective buyers, and vendors.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with a team, attention to quality and detail.
• Career oriented with strong commitment to the profession.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
· Full time, 40 hours or more a week. May require weekdays, weekends, and Holidays. Schedule flexible as business dictates.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying
· This position requires an above average amount of physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and standing.
· Should be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Bending/Kneeling
· This position requires an above average amount of physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching, sitting and standing. This position requires this type of activity throughout the day.
