Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed technician with expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical to join our Facilities Maintenance team. This role will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of systems, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality living environment for all residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service, and a willingness to be on call and work weekends as required.
Essential Functions:
- Diagnose and repair issues in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment and facilities are safe and functioning optimally.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing maintenance needs promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate work status clearly with management.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to company culture, customs, and safety protocols.
- Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including the tracking of supplies and maintenance materials.
- Stay current with operational procedures and participate in team meetings.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, including service reports and equipment maintenance logs.
- Respond to emergency service requests, and be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active and valid technician license in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical (or combination).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance and troubleshooting systems.
- Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and basic carpentry and appliance repairs.
- Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools efficiently and safely.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
