SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing expert massage therapy services and body treatments for Bluejack members and guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION(S):
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Adhere to all massage therapy laws mandated by TDLR.
· Interact with members and guests in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
· Be a pleasant team player with fellow co-workers and leadership.
· Maintain knowledge of all products, ingredients and their benefits.
· Adhere to the highest levels of hygiene and appearance. Uniform must be clean and pressed. Cigarette smoking/vaping is not permitted during shift due to the close proximity of members and guests. Hair, nails, breath and clothes must be always free of smoke smell.
· Maintain professional conversation with members and guests at all times.
· Perform treatment consultation prior to treatment. Solicit medical conditions from members and guests and advise on any contraindications.
· Follow sanitation procedures as set forth by TDLR.
· Maintain knowledge of spa treatments, pricing and protocols.
· Perform treatments based on an assigned schedule. Treatments must begin and end on time.
· Execute treatment protocols as taught in training and maintain consistency.
· Clean and stock treatment rooms with linens.
· Promote and sell retail products.
· Attend spa and company trainings and meetings as needed.
· Clean and sanitize treatment table and room in between appointments.
· Communicate member and guest feedback to Director of Wellness as necessary.
· Report any maintenance issues as needed to Director of Wellness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
· MUST HAVE CURRENT TEXAS MASSAGE THERAPIST LICENSE. LICENSE MUST BE ON FILE IN THE SPA.
· MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SPA EXPERIENCE.
· MUST SHOW ADAPTABILITY IN A BUSY ENVIRONMENT.
APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
· Must be able to work weekend, weekdays and Holidays.
· Shifts and hours may vary based on business demands.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying
· This position requires physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and carrying materials of moderate weight.
· Must follow all aspects of on-the-job safety.
