Position Summary:
As a Pastry Cook at Bluejack National, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality baked goods, pastries, ice creams, and desserts for multiple dining outlets across our campus. Your role will contribute to creating exceptional lifestyle experiences for our members, guests, and fellow employees. This position requires a commitment to excellence, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring that each dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
As a Pastry Cook at Bluejack National, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality baked goods, pastries, ice creams, and desserts for multiple dining outlets across our campus. Your role will contribute to creating exceptional lifestyle experiences for our members, guests, and fellow employees. This position requires a commitment to excellence, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring that each dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, ice creams, and desserts for daily operations across all dining outlets on campus.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in all dishes.
- Follow Bluejack National’s recipes, procedures, and portion guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Demonstrate basic to mid-level knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, including the ability to make ice creams and frozen desserts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining productivity.
- Assist in the inventory management of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that stock is properly rotated and replenished.
- Follow and adhere to proper uniform standards and grooming requirements as specified by Bluejack National.
- Be flexible and adaptable to work in different areas across the campus as needed.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in pastry cooking or baking, with basic to mid-level knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, including ice cream production.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-outlet setting with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to upholding proper uniform standards and grooming policies as outlined by Bluejack National.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional culinary experiences.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Work Environment:
- This position requires working in multiple outlets across Bluejack National’s campus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
