Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare and set up spa locker rooms in the morning for the day.
- Greet members & guests at check-in, provide a tour, and offer directions for their visit.
- Restock robes, amenities, and linens throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain lounge areas with essential amenities and ensure cleanliness throughout the day.
- Assist members and guests with café orders, including preparing and serving coffee, smoothies, teas, and other menu items.
- Operate café equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, with care and according to health and safety standards.
- Ensure the café area is clean and organized, with beverages and food delivered promptly to members and guests.
- Assist in taking and preparing orders, while maintaining a welcoming and efficient café experience for spa visitors.
- Ensure that members and guests are seated in the lounge before their appointments.
- Maintain professional interaction with members and guests at all times, providing top-notch customer service.
- Assist with product inventory and restocking as needed, both for the spa and café.
- Distribute and collect laundry throughout the Spa and fitness center.
- Collaborate with fellow co-workers and leadership in a positive, team-oriented manner.
- Adhere to the highest levels of hygiene and appearance. Uniform must be clean, pressed, and free of any smoke odor. Smoking/vaping is prohibited during shifts due to the proximity to members and guests.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with members and guests at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of spa treatments, pricing, and protocols, as well as café menu and offerings.
- Promote and sell both retail spa products and café items.
- Attend spa and company trainings and meetings as needed.
- Communicate member and guest feedback to the Director of Wellness as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Director of Wellness promptly.
Education:
- High School diploma
Licenses and Certifications
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
- A valid Food Handler's Certificate or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
