Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report any unusual behavior or incidents.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential safety hazards or security breaches.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
