JOB TITLE : Journeyman-Senior Graphic DesignerLOCATION : McLean, VirginiaCLEARANCE : MUST HAVE CURRENT Top Secret / SCI with PolygraphEDUCATION : Journeyman : Bachelor's with 3 years' experience or No degree with 9 years' experienceSenior : Bachelor's with 18 years' experience or Master's with 10 years' experienceJOB DESCRIPTION : Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests.Coordinates with UI / UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online.Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.Conducts technical quality checks.Manages an approved concept and build in HTML / CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.Front-end web design, UI / UX, HTML / CSS.Photography and video editing.Mentoring and training junior staff.Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.Conducting technical quality checks.Bluemont Technology & Research, Inc.
