About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced OSP Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of our telecommunications projects. As the OSP Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. You will work closely with our team of engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure that all project requirements are met and that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a non-remote position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5 years of experience in OSP project management
- Strong knowledge of OSP design and construction practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification
- RCDD certifications
- Experience working in the utilities industry
- Knowledge of GIS software and applications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Oversee the design and construction of OSP infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cabling, conduit, and related equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients
