Job Overview
This position plays a crucial role in the IT Shared service team at SKBA, but functions as a member of the BlueOval SK IT team. The successful candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in network equipment installation, configuration, and management, as well as proficiency in managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.
- Lead the end-to-end installation, configuration, and management of diverse network equipment to ensure optimal performance and connectivity across the enterprise.
- Continuously assess the network infrastructure, implementing optimization strategies to ensure efficient scaling with the organization's growth.
- Deploy advanced network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to safeguard organizational data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide prompt resolution to network-related issues, ensuring minimum downtime and supporting users with connectivity and access issues.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and traffic patterns, implementing adjustments and enhancements as necessary.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in network technologies, protocols, and security, leading training sessions and providing support to the broader Infrastructure team.
