Your Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize waste management processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and minimize environmental impact.
- Develop comprehensive waste management plans that align with regulatory requirements and company sustainability goals.
- Analyze waste streams generated during battery production processes to identify opportunities for reduction, reuse, and recycling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and minimize waste generation at the source.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance waste management efficiency, sustainability actions, cost reductions, and minimize environmental risks.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, and waste management.
- Conduct regular environmental inspections and monitoring activities to identify potential areas of concern and track environmental key performance indicators.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or three to five years experience in waste management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of waste management (solid, hazardous, universal, and wastewater).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
