Job Description:

  The Translator at BlueOval SK will have an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.

  Key Areas of Responsibility:

• The Translator will be responsible for supporting basic translation of Korean and English languages for all team members of BlueOval SK. This includes employees who are assigned to the project from parent companies, Ford and SK On as Secondees.

  Translation Responsibilities:

• Designs proposed output formats and monitors output for information accuracy.
• Translates spoken and/or written materials from one language to another.
• Records and/or transcribes minutes of meetings, hearings, dictation, dialogue, etc., and produces document in draft or final format.
• Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Enters data into a computer system and retrieves, corrects, or deletes previously entered data.
• Translate communications clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject
• Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker

  Typical Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
• Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks
• At least 1 year of administrative assistant or relocation experience preferred
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
