About the Position
We are seeking a Vice President to join our SEC & Financial Reporting Team. This role will be based in Short Hills, NJ and reports to the head of SEC and Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure the highest degree of quality with timely deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review quarterly earnings and management reporting materials, including Audit Committee and Board meeting materials
- Review AUM data, disclosure checklists, disclosure committee materials and statutory financial statements
- C coordinate amongst various groups to facilitate an efficient close and reporting process
- Develop strong working relationships within the team, finance/accounting group and other internal departments
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required, big four experience preferred
- 7 years of relevant professional experience working on SEC / financial reporting, preferably in the financial services industry / alternative asset manager space with a mix of public accounting experience
