Overview of the Position Responsibilities : The Bluepeak Customer Success Manager is responsible for the success of lead generation, revenue growth and retention in their given market for small and medium-sized businesses. This role will motivate employees, drive sales and revenue growth, maximize customer retention, and ensure that all employees meet their assigned objectives.

What You Will Do :

  • Manage a team focused on growing and retaining revenue in the Commercial space.
  • Forecast & track performance against assigned objectives.
  • Regular customer check-ins : Proactively reaching out to customers to assess their satisfaction, identify potential roadblocks, and provide tailored support.
  • Relationship building : Developing strong rapport with customers by actively listening to their needs, understanding their business goals, and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Customer education : Providing ongoing training and resources to help customers maximize the value of the product or service.
  • Issue resolution : Promptly addressing customer concerns, troubleshooting problems, and escalating issues to relevant teams when necessary.
  • Renewal management : Working to retain existing customers by proactively managing upcoming contract renewals and addressing potential churn risks.
  • Customer feedback collection : Gathering feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Data analysis : Monitoring customer usage metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Upselling and cross-selling : Identifying potential opportunities to expand customer accounts by suggesting additional products or services that align with their needs.
  • Lead Generation : Define and track KPIs for success for expansion market address validations, prospect contacts, prospect appointments and closed sales.

What You Will Need :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of business preferred
  • 8 years' experience minimum in small and medium-sized business sales & account management.
  • Experience in telecommunications / fiber optics preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills - competency in verbal, written and presentation skills for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
  • Build and develop strong partnerships across functions.
  • Strong virtual leader creating team culture across multiple states and time zones.
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize sales initiatives, projects, and performance objectives with clearly defined metrics.
  • Strong collaboration with direct reports, peers, and executive leadership to provide key on the ground insights and feedback to support the development of regional strategies.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
  • Ability to coach and train employees to achieve targets.
  • Effective time management with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in changing or challenging situations.
  • Technical / telecom knowledge – understanding of Bluepeak products, services and features to effectively answer customer questions and assist with problem resolution.
  • Customer service orientation – strong commitment to providing exceptional customer support to resolve issues efficiently.
  • MS Office Suite : Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Teams.
  • Software : ICOMS and Salesforce.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to sit, bend, reach, push, and pull.
  • Required to use hands, handle objects and paperwork.
  • Required to be able to focus.
  • Required to refrain from personal use of technology during working hours.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Required to lift up to 5lbs at a given time.
